Jesus didn’t come to start something completely new; he came to fulfill the promises God made throughout the Old Testament. In his hometown, Jesus makes it clear that God’s grace is bigger than the boundaries we draw, and his good news is meant to reach people we might never expect. Jesus came to bring good news, freedom, and restoration; and his grace is for people we might not expect, including people like us.

We’re kicking off our fall series, The Main Thing: Living Like Jesus, through the Gospel of Luke. Together, we’ll explore the identity, life, mission, and ongoing impact of Jesus and what it means to align our lives with his.

Luke begins with eyewitness accounts that point us to the heart of the story: Jesus. From the temple to the Jordan River, Jesus’ identity is clear. He is the Son, the promised King, and the Suffering Servant. Before his ministry even begins, Jesus knows who he is and what he came to do. And through him, we’re invited into God’s family, where we find intimacy with our Father, safety in him, and a new community as brothers and sisters.

"Continuing What Jesus Started" - a message from Acts 1:1-14. The book of Acts isn't ultimately the story of what the apostles did; it's the story of what the risen Jesus kept doing through his Spirit and his people - and still does today. Jesus is still at work, and he invites each of us to join his mission right where we are: in our Jerusalem, our Judea, our Samaria, and the ends of the earth.

Have you ever felt your faith start to slip? You're not alone, and you're in good company.

In Psalm 73, Asaph admits his feet had almost slipped. He looks around, sees people who ignore God seeming to thrive while he has nothing to show for his faithfulness, and he starts to wonder if any of it is worth it. But his story doesn't end there. Everything shifts when he stops wrestling with it alone and steps back into the presence of God alongside the people of God. His doubt didn't wreck his faith. It deepened it.

In this message, Charles Zimmerman walks through Psalm 73 and the honest truth that doubt doesn't have to be the end of the road. Handled well, it can be the very thing that carries you to a faith that lasts, and to the God who becomes your refuge.

Psalm 133 reminds us that we were never meant to make the journey of faith alone. As we draw near to God, he draws us closer to one another; bringing us together, renewing us together, and blessing us together.
